
He served as an adjunct lecturer from 1993 at various institutions, including the Ghana School of Law, the Central University College, the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and the National Banking College. He has also served as an instructor for the Ghana Stock Exchange securities courses and as a resource person for the West African Institute for Economic and Financial Management, Nigeria. He has several publications on finance and corporate governance to his credit.
Dr Adu Anane studied at the University of Ghana Business School where he obtained a BSc. Administration (Accounting) degree in 1989 and an MBA degree in 1992. He also studied for the professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. He further studied at the Ghana School of Law and qualified as a lawyer in 2007.
He obtained his Doctor of Business Administration degree at the Paris School of Business in Paris, France.
